BIO 202-03: Human Anatomy & Physiology II (CRN 13125)

  • This 4-credit course is designed primarily to provide students for careers in health-related professions with a basic knowledge of the structure of the human body and a fundamental understanding of the physiological processes that constitute life. Topics include body fluids, immune, cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems. This course includes hands-on laboratory experience (such as experimentation, microscopy, observation, and dissection).
  • The prerequisite for this course is BIO 201.

BIO 218-02: Human Pathophysiology (CRN 13310)

  • This 4-credit course is designed primarily for allied-health students to further their knowledge of the disease processes in the human body. This course will focus on the mechanisms and modalities of infection or onset, building upon an understanding of human anatomy and physiology. Topics include the various mechanisms of diseases and how they relate to the eleven organ systems of the human body.
  • The prerequisite for this course is BIO 201 & BIO 202.
